Foleo is the new portable computer unveiled by Palm earlier today, the main idea behind the device is “internet on the go with some style”. This small gadget weighs 2.5pounds (1.1Kg) and features a 10-inch screen plus a normal keyboard, as you can imagine it is very ergonomic unlike what happens with other (scarce) products of the same kind.

On the connectivity features it can be paired up with a smartphone via bluetooth or wifi, so you can surf the net and transfer files from/to the computer easily.

In the end Foleo is a weightless portable computer that costs $499 and needs to be connected to another device to have internet access. Other features include a Word processor, Opera as the browser, Linux as the OS, and much more. Is it worth the price? Are there better alternatives on the market? Most probably yes, but I bet some Palm lovers will get one Foleo for the sake of it, or else…
