The Fish Handheld Mouse
June 12, 2007 | In: Peripherals, USB

The special feature about the Fish Mouse is that it doesn’t need a mousepad or a flat surface in order to work, it just needs your hand. This means there is a small mouse that can be used in complicated situations, now we only need to know if it is easy to use or not.
Obviously, it works via USB and it is a light-weight device – 90 grams.
The Fish is ideal for use with a laptop computer on trains or planes, where room is restricted. The Fish is also the perfect computer controller for business resentations.
Priced at $12.

I bought this product to replace a trackman that my puppy destroyed. Although it feels great in hand, it is a bit combersome to use because the ball can not be calibrated and you have to flip it so many times to get it to cross the screen it ends up making my thumb sore. I think if they came out with software or a way to calibrate the ball it would be a better item.
