The company dedicated to printers - Epson - has launched its new multi-function device codenamed CX5505 in the Asian market, more specifically in Korea.
Instead of following the normal route that other printers do, the Epson folks decided to put two types of ink cartridges on the CX:
Including standard and small ink cartridges, it enables users to select one of them according to their needs, saving cost.
By adopting four-color individual ink cartridges, it allows you to replace each cartridge by color, not whole cartridges.
Sadly there is no information about the release date, but there are details about the Epson CX5505 price: 139,000KRW which is close to $150. As for the special cartridges, the prices can go from 4,000KRW (near $5) for the small sized versions, to 9,000KRW ($10) for the standard cartridges.
