The USB Drives world never stops coming up with new devices, this time it was Memorex announcing the M-flyer Pilot which will be added to their TravelDrive category.
Unlike what happens with 87% of the same kind of drives in the market, this one doesn’t have a normal case for the USB connector, instead it uses the “unique spring-loaded” system. Basically it means that the USB connector can go inside the the drive’s body, making it smaller and protecting the device when not being used. Afterwards, just click a button and the connector will come out – this is the working mode.
Both the drives are also enhanced for ReadyBoost according to Memorex and are cross-platform compatible for Windows, Mac and Linux.
Memorex plans to put the M-flyer on the shelves during the current month of July, the prices are $50 for a 2GB version and $79 for 4GB.
