July 10, 2007 | In: Laptops Notebooks

ThinkPad T61p is the latest laptop announced by Lenovo, the little beast has some tricks up its sleeve that will delight notebook owners.
One of those tricks is the battery life, Lenovo is using a “new” system entitled Battery Stretch that is suppose to increase the lifetime of a single charge, and at the same time there are power management functions to reduce the usage of the battery. Among all the new features, the second one is improving the Wi-Fi performance thanks to Lenovo’s Ultra Connect II wireless design.
Inside the T61p there is the usual Intel Centrino Pro mobile technology, a graphics card provided by NVIDIA (Quadro FX 750M), and the choice to include next-generation wireless technology such as Ultra-Wideband.
The ThinkPad T61p will start at $1814 and will be available through Lenovo’s Business Partners division starting this month.
