NEC has made some adjustments to the MultiSync monitors and came out with two new models: LCD2205WXM with a 20-inch display, and LCD225WXM that features a bigger 22-inch screen.
The two models feature an ergonomic stand that can tilt, swivel or adjust the height. They have integrated speakers which is something that I dislike to see on monitors, and are Vista certified.
On the viewing department it provides a huge 1680×1050 resolution, pretty useful to work with 2
programs at the same time, which is something that can’t be done with smaller resolutions like the one I currently have.
Both monitors are currently available at NEC, the 20-inch model goes for $345 , and the 22-inch model costs $365.
Valuable information about the new NEC MultiSync Monitors:
- 5ms response time
- 1000:1 contrast ratio
- 300 cd/m2 brightness
- Ambix digital/analog connectivity
- XtraView wide-angle technology
