Commodore Desktop PCs to hit the US

Commodore has made its way from an old-school gaming console, to a new PC Gaming company with the headquarters in the Netherlands. They have presented a couple of new desktop computers at E3 which will be available in the US in the near future.

Commodore Desktop PCs

In essence there are 4 systems that have the following specifications:

  • Intel quad-core processors
  • Nvidia 8000-series graphics card
  • Corsair RAM
  • ASUS-made Nforce motherboards

Obviously, you can configure each system in order to suit your needs, but those will be the default features. The codenames go from Commocode Cg being the low-end model, to Cxx being the high-end model, with the prices starting at $1,700 for the basic Cg version.

While Commodore won’t be overclocking out of the box, it will be providing all of its systems with a proprietary Peltier-cooling heat sink, that it claims will give gamers room to ramp up their parts themselves.

The Commodore Gaming PCs will come with a Ckin, which is a good looking paint job on the front (and side) panel. To make your case look better, aka getting new paintings on the panels, it will cost $300.
