Navigon 5100 GPS Navigation System

Navigon, a German company dedicated to navigation systems, have announced that one of their models – Navigon 5100 – will become available in the US solo during the current month of July.

The GPS navigation system has a 3.5-inch touch screen and besides the normal GPS features like text-to-speech and real-time traffic information, there is one useful function which is called lane assistance – as the name suggests this option picks the best lane in specific freeways that will match your route.

The Navigon 5100 costs $500 and there is still one important feature – the reality view – that provides “photo-realistic virtual reality view of complex interchanges with road geometry.
