In order to save the environment, some energy, and money at the end of the month in electricity bills, Kanguru has presented the Eco Drive - an external hard-drive with 3 power saving modes that can make its power consumption go as low as 75% when compared to normal drives.
The power-saving modes on the eco-friendly Kanguru drive are the following:
The Kanguru Eco Drives cost between $95 and $350, depending if you want a hard-drive with 80GB or 750GB.
PS - I’m still happy with my Lacie, but the green people should get one Kanguru!

3A correction to this post…the drive powers down to 5% to 10% of normal usage. It actually uses 75% *less* than other drives not 75% *of* what other drives use.
