Acer and the design group of BMW became one to create the latest notebook – Acer Aspire 5520.
When comparing to other laptops on the Aspire series, this one can be considered the baby, a.k.a. the less powerful. But on the other hand, it also means that the price is good, which is close to $1,000.
So for one grand, this is what Acer Aspire 5520 has to offer:
- powered by AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-52/56/60/64/66 processor
- Nvidia 8400M G (128MB VRAM) or 7000M graphics card
- up to 4GB RAM
- max 250GB hard drive
- dual layer DVD burner
Of course there are also the usual features such as a webcam, Windows Vista as the operative system, and bluetooth 802.11b/g as a wireless option.

2Tiago,
Do all the 5520 models have bluetooth. If so how do I turn mine on. I bought mine from circuit city and the model number says 5520-5334.

3If you look on the attached link, there is the listing at Circuit City for the lap top you bought from Circuit City and if you scan down, right in the specs it says that it does not have bluetooth.

9Bluetooth and wireless b/g are both wireless protocols; just a set of rules about how the wireless works. You won’t be able to go into a Starbucks and use Bluetooth to get onto their network.

10Bluetooth can be used with wireless mice that support bluetooth, and cellphones and such, wireless b/g is used to access to networks and wireless internet, i don’t think bluetooth can be a substitute for b/g wireless seeing as they’re two different wireless protocols
