Bluetooth can be used with wireless mice that support bluetooth, and cellphones and such, wireless b/g is used to access to networks and wireless internet, i don’t think bluetooth can be a substitute for b/g wireless seeing as they’re two different wireless protocols

Bluetooth and wireless b/g are both wireless protocols; just a set of rules about how the wireless works. You won’t be able to go into a Starbucks and use Bluetooth to get onto their network.

so i take it that bluetooth is better than this wireless b/g, what is the difference. sorry im not so computer savvy.

i bought acer aspire 5520,and it says it has abluetooth!but ther’s not.can i possible to download software to activate the bluetiooth?

If you look on the attached link, there is the listing at Circuit City for the lap top you bought from Circuit City and if you scan down, right in the specs it says that it does not have bluetooth.

Do all the 5520 models have bluetooth. If so how do I turn mine on. I bought mine from circuit city and the model number says 5520-5334.
