The Japanese corporation of Toshiba has announced a new player on the Gigabeat series, the T401. To mark a difference when comparing to other Gigabeat players, the T401 comes with Wi-Fi so you can download audio content from the internet.
It has 4GB of storage capacity (more than previous models) and a QVGA display that measures 2.4-inches. The built-in WiFi is on the IEE 802.11b/g category, and the battery can handle 16 hours of audio, or in case you watching video it is only 5 hours.
Microsoft Portable Media Center is the operative system used in the new Toshiba Gigabeat T401, which will be officially released on September with a price tag of approximately $250.
