Cowon iAudio U5 MP3 Player
September 3, 2007 | In: MP3 Players

Cowon has presented their new MP3 Player at IFA 2007, it is called iAudio U5 and has similar features when comparing to the previous iAudio X5.
Basically they just changed the type of memory, making the U5 a flash player. Anyhow, the device comes with a 1.8-inch TFT display, FM tuner and recorder (plus voice recorder), a battery life of 20 hours and last but not least, it only supports 2 different audio file formats: MP3 and WMA. The storage capacity options are 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB.
It is a bit disappointing to see that Cowon didn’t make any significant upgrades, but maybe they are waiting to release a new device with impressive specs, we’ll have to wait and see.
There is no information about the price or availability date.
