Sony Rolly – The Rolling MP3 Player
September 11, 2007 | In: MP3 Players

Companies on the MP3 Players world need an uncommon product to stand out from the big group, and that is what Sony decided to do with the Rolly – an egg-shaped device that rolls on the floor and plays music at the same time.
Besides that strange characteristic, the Rolly also features a strange usability – there is only one button to turn it on or off, and the rest of the functions are made by moving the rings located on its body.
The Rolly has 1GB of storage capacity so you can add plenty of songs, and supports MP3, ATRAC and AAC files, but if that isn’t enough there is bluetooth connectivity so you can stream music. The battery has 4 hours of life when the Rolly is moving, 5 hours when it is only playing music, or 3 hours and a half when using bluetooth.
Priced at $346 with a Japanese release only.
