My Book – New external hard-drives by Western Digital

Another day and another external hard-drive is released, Western Digital is the company in charge and My Book is the name of the product.
The new external HDDs are separated in 2 different editions: New and Classic. Inside the New edition there are 3 models, and on the Classic edition there are 8 different models that vary in the connectivity options: some only have USB2.0, others have a combo of USB + Firewire400 + eSATA, and there is still a small group named World Edition II that only works with Ethernet.
The Office Edition can now be accessed online via MioNet software when connected to a PC through USB.
Prices range from $129.99 to $379.99 for 320GB to 1TB capacities.
Other details of the MyBook can be seen on the Western Digital website, one interesting option that only 3 models don’t have is the power on/off function along with the computer.
