Elecom MR-C12 – Memory Card Storage Case

The Elecom MR-C12 is much more than a simple storage case, it does look good design-wise, and all the color combinations are good. But what makes it unique is having a double function – instead of only working as a storage case, it is also a memory card reader.
It works via USB2.0 and it supports/can hold plenty of different memory cards at once, such as:
- SDHC MC
- SD MC
- MMC / MMC4.0
- Memory Stick/ MagicGate Memory Stick
- Memory Stick Pro / Memory Stick Duo
- xD card
The only problem I see on the Elecom MR-C12 is that the USB cable length is only 5cm, which means that if you use a desktop computer instead of a notebook, the scenario can get kind of problematic. Anyhow, this unique card reader + storage case costs €20 ($28) and is available for pre-order.
