The market of portable TVs in such small devices like the Gigabeat isn’t popular in most parts of the world, but that is when Japan comes along and offers the 1seg broadcasting service, which according to PMP is an exclusive mobile TV format in Japan, used in the V41.
The Toshiba Gigabeat V41 features a 3.5-inch LCD screen and inside there are 4GB of storage capacity (flash memory style). Instead of two speakers like the majority have, the V41 only has a single speaker.
In terms of battery, this Gigabeat model can handle the 3 kind of scenarios with ease: 10 hours for TV, 13 hours for video, and 40 hours for audio playback.
In case you are enjoying the TV show you are viewing and want to see it again later, there is the possibility to record it. Priced at 29,800 Yen, close to $260
