ASUS has upgraded one of their Ultra-Mobile PCs, the R2H. The changes are more related to performance then design-wise, because in the end its aspect didn’t change – it still has a 7-inch screen that provides a 80xx480 resolution and the looks are the same as the previous version.

As for the upgrades, here is a small list:

• from a Celeron running at 900Mhz, to an Intel A110 processor
• addition of HSDPA with Wi-Fi
• option to pick a 80GB disk
• now supports more ram memory – 1GB of DDR2-400

The ASUS R2H is priced at €1,119 (close to $1,590) and will become available in Europe during the next month.
