It isn’t everyday that we can see such a useful 2-in-1 device like the Verizon Wireless USB727. This special small sized gadget has a modem inside and can be put on the EV-DO Rev. A category. Some might even say this is the “world’s smallest EV-DO Rev. A modem stick”, but I have my doubts.
Inside the USB727 from Verizon Wireless there is space for a microSD memory card slot, with a maximum capacity of 4GB. If you are really interested, take note that the price is $150 after a $50 rebate plus a 2-year agreement.
It was designed to work with just about any Type A USB port and comes with out-of-box support for a wide range of operating systems including Windows XP and Vista, Mac, and Linux, allowing Verizon Wireless subscribers to stay connected in a more convenient manner at speeds and performance that are on par with traditional cable or DSL connections.
