The Italian manufacturer of home theater projectors, a.k.a. SIM2, has recently introduced two new devices on their Grand Cinema series, called C3X 1080 and HT30000 HOST.
The latest C3X model was designed by Giorgio Revoldin, and by looking at the image we can only say he did a good job. Small, yet stylish with cool curves – just what I like. The C3X 1080 uses the DarkChip4 chip from Texas, which is suppose to increase the quality of color, brightness, and other details. It is capable of playing full-HD content at a 1920×1080 resolution and comes with a couple of ports/inputs: HDMI, USB, RGB, and optical digital audio among others.
Priced at $30,000 with a release date on November and 3 color options: gold, black, and red.
On the other hand there is the HT30000 HOST, which is divided into 2 pieces: the projector itself, and the processor.
This system is also capable of playing HD content and uses new technologies such as Full BrilliantColor that provides a broader color range, and Unishape - to increase light output and color bit depth.

Available on October for $20,000 – only in Gunmetal finish.
