Tascam will launch its newest CD system that works as a karaoke machine in the upcoming week(s) on Japan, US and Canada. This special audio system is able to play different CD formats and its main feature is the “voice-off” function - an easy way to remove the voice from your favorite songs just by pressing a button.

Besides removing the audio part of the vocalist from the song, the Tascam device also lets you change some of the details like the pitch, speed, and rhythm of each song. It can play CD-DA, CD-R, and CD-RW discs, and in case you want to do a karaoke session with another person, there are 2 microphone inputs.

The Tascam CD + Karaoke system is priced at $150.
