The RM Asus miniBook is a good alternative for those that want a very basic laptop for a cheap price. The special notebook is made for students and the normal model costs £169 ($340), while the “upgraded” model has a price tag of £199 ($405).
The differences between each RM Asus Minibooks are the RAM memory and hard-disk: the cheapest comes with 256MB of RAM and 2GB of storage, while the other one has 512MB on the RAM department, and 4GB on the hard-drive.
All the other features are the same for both models, and include an Intel processor (Celeron-M ULV running at 900MHz), a small 7-inch screen, a built-in webcam + microphone, a SD memory card reader, Wi-Fi, and more.
