Sony BWU-200S – Blu-Ray Burner

Sony has presented a new Blu-Ray drive code-named BWU-200S, it is capable of recording Blu-Ray discs at 4X, which gives 45 minutes to copy 50GB of data into the disk, not too bad. The internal burner is also capable of recording other formats quickly, such as a single-layer DVD-R at 16x.
The Sony BWU-200S package includes software to make the recording/edits/playback sessions of Blu-Ray content a lot easier, more specifically CyberLink BD.
The rail-mounted drive plugs into a Serial ATA port that eases the install process and improves speed.It will even burn DVDs using AVCHD and other formats that usually only appear on Blu-Ray discs, according to the company.
Priced at $600, the upcoming Sony Blu-Ray burner will become available in November.
