Digital Korea is a recently launched book that is obviously related to the digital life in Korea, written by Tomi Ahonen and Jim O Reilly.
The book was actually planned 2 years ago in Seoul, and has some cool facts about the relation of South Korean people and different types of technology, if you don’t believe me, take a look at my top 5 list:
- The second most desired car is not a Ferrari but a “Solid Pro” – a virtual car from the online game Kart Rider
- 30% of South Koreans upload pictures from camera phones to social-networking sites
- 20% of South Korean DMB cell-phone owners watch digital TV in the car
- 45% of South Koreans buy MP3 files to phones
- 97% of South Koreans buy ring tones
