Griffin Evolve – Wireless iPod speakers start shipping

The Griffin Evolve speakers have already been presented a few months ago, but they only started shipping today and are available at BestBuy for $300.
The stylish speakers use rechargeable lithium-ion batteries to become really wireless, so you can place them up to 45 meters away from the main docking station once they are charged, and simply enjoy the music while swimming in your pool. Good scenario, right?
Sadly, the Evolve only has 20W of “sound power”, but on the other hand it works with iPods and any other audio sources, think CD players or other MP3 players. A remote control is included in the package, as well as video outputs for the 5th iPod generation
Griffin says the fully charged speakers should deliver 10 hours of playing time before needing another juice-up.
