Wacom has launched a cool LCD tablet display for designers, called Cintiq 12WX. The biggest difference when comparing to other Wacom displays, is the small screen size but big resolution, more specifically a LCD screen that measures 12-inches and provides a 1280×800 resolution.
There are a couple of programmable buttons located on each side of the Cintiq that will make the life of designers a lot easier, all thanks to the shortcut functions. As for the pen, it can generate 1,024 pressure gradients and is pretty accurate - 5,080 lines per inch.
The Wacom Cintiq 12WX is priced at £830 ($1,700) and will be available in November.
The display can connect to any Mac or Windows computer through either DVI or VGA for older systems.
