At the SEMA 2007 show, Kenwood decided to presents its latest car radio system called KDC-X991.
The audio system can play different audio file formats, such as MP3 and WMA, but the best features are the USB port and the internal flash memory with 512MB of storage.
As it usually occurs with these kind of gadgets, there is a rotary menu that you can easily use to browse the folders and files. The KDC-X991 seems rather expensive at $650, and is missing some key features like support for memory cards, but still, if you want a stylish Kenwood system for Christmas, mark this as a good option.
Drivers can rip CDs to the memory as they listen or import digital audio files via the stereo’s USB port.
