Panasonic has revealed its latest Blu-ray player codenamed DMP-BD30, it is the first device on the market “compatible” with the BD-Video Final Standard Profile 1.1, which brings some advantages like extra audio and video decoders.
Priced at $500, the Panasonic Blu-ray player supports SD cards and can playback videos at 1080p in AVCHD format, straight from the memory card.
For now there is no information about the release date, but we’ll keep you updated as details pop up.
Other features of the Panasonic DMP-BD30 player include Deep Color Compatibility, HDMI 1.3B, and 1080 / 24p playback.
