HP announced a new laptop that will be put on the dv600 series, it is codenamed HP dv660ef and will cost less than €1,000 ($1,400).
In terms of features, the HP dv660ef can be considered an average notebook, sporting an Intel Core 2 Duo processor running at 2Ghz, more 2GB of RAM memory, a GeForce8400 GS as the graphics card, and a SATA hard-drive with 250GB of capacity.
Besides the obvious WiFi, Ethernet, and USB2.0 connections, there is a webcam with microphone, a DVD-writer and a 5-in-1 card reader.
PS – yes, it comes with Windows Vista.
