Pacific Defense, a company related to technology used in military situations, is developing a DVR (digital video recording) pen that features bluetooth so you can transfer the content to other devices - think computers, cellphones, and PDAs.
Don’t mistaken by its small size, the futuristic pen is able to record videos with a 320×240 resolution, at 30 frames per second, which is almost the same specs as cellphone cameras.
Did I mention it has a microphone? And it stores the content (video, or audio) on the internal flash memory, or on a Micro SD memory card? Hmmm…
Designed to operate in low-light, DVR pen features five different motion detection sensitivity levels, along with the ability to select specific areas for motion detection, and send an alarm wirelessly to a remote site in the event that motion is detected.
There’s also an audio detection capability that triggers the sound recorder.
PS – The DVR pen with bluetooth capabilities is suppose to be launched during March 2008.
