November 9, 2007 | In: MP3 Players, Portable Media
Packard Bell has introduced new portable players for the European market with original names such as Fresh and Eclipse.
The first (image on the right) is only a MP3 player and doesn’t even has radio or support for WAV files, but it does have a low price: €30 for a 1GB version, or €40 for 2GB. The Fresh works with one AA battery that provides 12 hours of non-stop music.
On the other hand, the Eclipse is the first multimedia (audio and video) player from Packard Bell, which will become available in 3 different storage capacities: 2GB, 4GB, and the biggest – 8GB. It is able to playback MP4, WMV and XviD files, and unlike its small brother called Fresh, it features FM radio and a voice recording function as well.
A lithium-ion battery should last through 22 hours of audio
