SlimPad – Mouse with touch-sensitive control in place of scrolling wheel
November 21, 2007 | In: Peripherals

While 83% of the computer mouses on the world feature a normal scrolling wheel, the SlimPad marks the difference by featuring a touch-sensitive control. The working method is simple, instead of scrolling, you just need to slide your finger on the wheel.
Besides that new function, the SlimPad also has another distinct detail, which is the rectangle shape. It will most likely cause usability problems, but maybe that can be fixed in upcoming versions, something like SlimPad 2.0.
The SlimPad will come in two different versions; one will be wireless, the other wired. The Model I will allow its cord to be stored inside of it, thus keeping your laptop case a little more organized.
