Buffalo has come up with another storage system, this time a real portable + external hard drive, and according to Buffalo Technology, they are the first company presenting this kind of device to the market.

The main difference is that the Buffalo MiniStation TurboUSB is only powered by USB, meaning that it doesn’t need any other power cords, like it happens with some “portable” drives. In terms of storage capacity, it is well served with 320GB, and transfer speeds are good as well.

Price? £155 ($320) and available on December.

The MiniStation TurboUSB is a shock-resistant USB 2.0 portable hard drive that boasts file transfer rates up to 64% faster than traditional 4200rpm USB hard drives.
