The Korean company - Cowon - has decided to finally launch the Q5 on the US market. The prices are pretty high, but so is Q5’s quality in terms of design, features, and performance. The portable media player will be released next week, and costs $550 for a 40GB model, or $600 for a bigger one, at 60GB.

As for the technical specifications, here is what the Cowon Q5 provides:

• WiFi and Bluetooth
• 64MB of flash memory, and 128MB of SDRAM
• 5-inch WVGA screen with 800 x 480 resolution
• running WinCE 5.0

Some of the extras include a voice recorder, and being able to view photos, or text.
