BlackJack II

The folks at LaptopMag have reviewed the latest Samsung BlackJack II of AT&T, and the conclusion is that the smart phone can be a good option for fist-time buyers, but not for the people that want to upgrade from the basic BlackJack version.

The praises of the smart phone go for the good design, the useful spinning jog wheel that makes scrolling simple and easier, the retooled keyboard, and also its quickness while running various programs simultaneously.

On the other hand, some of the bad points of the BlackJack II review are related to the way to adjust the volume, the location of the power button, and the final quality of the photos that can be considered rather low – it becomes a disaster if there is any kind of movement while shooting a photo.

Samsung throws in an RSS reader, so you can catch up on the latest headlines without surfing to multiple sites. It took a mere 38 seconds to update eight feeds, including BBC News, CBS Financial, NYT: Home Page, and Yahoo U.S. News, all of which include images.
