Genius BT-031 – not your normal bluetooth headset
December 6, 2007 | In: Bluetooth Gadgets

Genius has presented a new bluetooth headstet, with the unique characteristic of being the world’s first featuring a touchscreen panel, so users can adjust the volume by sliding the sensor, much like what happens with some touchscreen cellphones.
The Genius BT-031 has a battery life of 15 hours while in talking-mode, and a big working range of 10 feet, close to 9 meters. As you can see by the image, its design is pretty good, and that is why it received an award from CES, more specifically the Innovations Design and Engineering Award, on the headphones class, of course. It will become available in March 2008, and cost $79.
Designed to compliment Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones and PDAs, the BT-30l supports A2DP hands free so users can take a call or listen to music which is automatically muted when receiving an incoming call.
