December 12, 2007 | In: Storage Devices, USB

Buffalo has released yet another USB flash drive, but this time with a different codename, a bigger capacity, and a higher price. The SHDU32GS is capable of holding 32GB of data, and strangely enough, it has the same size as their previous 16GB flash drive.
In terms of extra features, it comes with TurboUSB technology, which is suppose to make the transfer speeds faster when compared to others. The drive also has software to make backups easily, among other tasks, like protecting a specific folder with a password.
The U32GS is also ruggedized and includes both a clip and a switch to prevent an accidental data wipe.
Priced at $286 and available in Japan on the upcoming days, no information if and when it will be available on the US.
