Dymo DiscPainter – CD Printer
December 19, 2007 | In: Printers Scanners

We’ve already mentioned a CD and DVD printer in the past, it was the simple Casio CW-E60 to be more specific, with a price tag of $60. But more recently another CD printer came up at Amazon, called Dymo DiscPainter, which is a bit more expensive at $277.
It can print a CD in under 1 minute while using a 600dpi resolution, and less than 3 minutes with a higher resolution of 1,200dots-per-inch. Depending on your patience, these time values can either be good, or bad, in my opinion they are average.
According to some reviews of the Dymo DiscPainter at Amazon, the final rating is 4 stars out of 5, not bad. In the end, the price seems to be one of the most important aspects.
Includes easy-to-use Discus software, or print from Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and other creative software applications.

Thanks for the review Tiago. I use the DiscPainter and have nothing but praise for it. It is fast, simple to use and free of the frustrating quirks of other disc labelers out there. The price is not too high if you really need professional looking labels. You get what you pay for.

I just wanted to add my two cents worth. I have seen the DiscPainter for sale for much less than the 279 list price. Check around as It has been offered for as little as 199! A definite bargain for this disc printer.
