GPS instructions with your own voice
December 19, 2007 | In: GPS Systems

Did you ever thought about replacing the irritating voice(s) that many GPS navigation systems have? How about adding your own voice as instructions?
If you have a microphone, 7 euros, and understand Dutch, head over to YourPND to create the audio files. Afterwards they are made available for download, and you simply need to transfer them to your TomTom GPS. At this time, TomTom is the only navigation system compatible with the system at YourPND, but they will add more in the future – Garmin, Mio, and MyGuide.
Of course you can also buy your files on a USB drive and ship it to a loved one as a present. Imagine the possibilities! However that costs 20 € including shipping. – navigadget
