We have already mentioned some Cowon devices at Gadgetizer, but they were all portable media players, like the iAudio U5, or the iAudio7. This time, they decided to go for a GPS navigation system, and call it Cowon N3.
The release date is set for January 2, but so far there is no pricing information. The N3 comes with the default sized 7-inch LCD screen, and 16,7 million colors. The chip to get the GPS signal is the SiRF III, while the processor is an Alchemy AU 1250, at 600 Mhz.
Other features of the latest Cowon GPS system include 2 slots for SD memory cards, a USB host to transfer data easily from flash drives, video and music playback, and an AV input/output.
It also supports overlay, PIP(Picture in Picture) / NIP(Navigation in Picture) features.
