In order to fight the big market share of iPods, one of the rival companies (in multimedia players) also known as SanDisk, has come up with upgraded versions of the Sansa View, and the Sansa Clip.
The only feature that received an adjustment, was the storage capacity, which obviously increased in both models. With that being said, the Sansa View can now old 32GB of data, while the Sansa Clip has a maximum capacity of 4GB.
About the prices and release dates - the two models are suppose to become available to the public on February, and the suggested price is $80 for the Sansa Clip, and $350 for the Sansa View. And if the battery life is important to you, the numbers are the following: 15 hours on the Clip, and 7 hours (of video) or 35 hours (of audio) on the View.
