Samsung F490 – Hot cellphone

To take a break from all the CES gadgets, lets go back to Korea and the announcement of a new cellphone from Samsung, which might be a competition for LG Prada’s, iPhones, and alikes.

To compete with the rivals, the Samsung F490 features touchscreen technology and only has 3 “buttons” on the bottom – to have access to the menu, and to accept/reject calls. The screen measures 3.2-inches, and provides a 16:9 wide screen format – good enough to watch videos, and photos, that you can record while using the 5.0 megapixel camera.

In terms of wireless connections, the F490 comes with bluetooth to transfer files, and HSDPA for Internet, in which case the browser can either be viewed vertically, or horizontally.

Samsung F490 will satisfy users with the latest audio and video functions such as the combination of standard 3.5mm audio jack, and support for compatible microSD cards plus 130MB internal memory.
