We are all used to see new iPod docks popping up each month, but the new trend are iPhone speaker systems, and I’m sure we’ll start seeing many more in the near future.

Anyhow, the T612 is made by Altec Lansing, and is currently on the high show CES 2008. Besides working as a speaker system would, the device adds the glorious feature of working with the iPhone as well - which means that music is paused when receiving a call.

No feedback because of the internal GSM shielding which keep its speakers from picking up potential intermittent noises emitted by the iPhone or other mobile devices.

The Altec Lansing T612 - iPod Speaker System - will be available on February, with a price tag of $199.
