Fujitsu F705i – Waterproof cellphone
January 22, 2008 | In: Cellular Phones

In the big market of cellphones, companies always make claims about being their device being the “first”, or the “slimmest”, and in this case, it is Fujitsu giving the title of “slimmest waterproof cellphone” to the F705i.
In the normal specs, the Fujitsu F705i features a 1.3-megapixel camera for the photos and videos, a microSD slot to store all the big files, and a 2.7-inch LCD screen. On the other hand, the paranormal feature is being waterproof, which means that you can just throw the cellphone into the pool, on purpose. Don’t forget that the underwater limit is 3.3 feet (1 meter), and the time limit is 30 minutes, otherwise say goodbye to the cellphone.
It runs on NTT DoCoMo’s 3G FOMA network, and the back of the phone has a sub-surface LED display, able to display various words and characters.
PS – seems like a Japanese release only.
