BlackBerry Pearl 8110 for Spain

Good news for the Spanish people that like BlackBerry’s, because the Pearl 8110 will become available on Spain thanks to Vodafone. From all the BlackBerry Pearl models, this is the first one that comes with built-in GPS. While the smartphone has a low price – €89 – the bad news is that the whole package includes a contract with Vodafone for 18 months.
Anyway, if you’re not worried about becoming a Vodafone friend for more than one year, the Pearl 8110 will be provide a pleasent experience. To start with, there is the trackball navigation, and SureType keyboard, to increase the usability. Secondly, there are normal multimedia features, like a 2-megapixel camera that can shoot photos, and record videos in 2 different resolutions.
Besides the bluetooth and included software with plenty of functions, the Pearl supports microSD or SDHC memory cards, up to 8GB.
Includes Speaker Independent Voice Recognition (SIVR) for Voice Activated Dialing (VAD).
