At the Macworld 2008 Expo that took place a few days ago, Otter decided to present their new case for the iPhone.
Named OtterBox, the semi-rugged case is able to protect the iPhone screen from dust, and water. Due to the polycarbonate shell that protects the whole device, there is no need to worry about scratches on the display screen, or in other parts of the Apple phone.
A representative from Otter Products, more specifically the CEO - Curt Richardson - made the following comment during Macworld:
Traditionally our OtterBox for iPod line has been completely rugged, but when the iPhone was introduced we wanted to offer an option that paralleled the look of the device while still providing protection from drops, dust and scratches.
Unfortunately, there is no information about the price or release date.
