Tvcompass SR 1500 – WiFi-enabled remote control

A few days ago, Tvcompass introduced their new remote control named SR 1500 DMR, aka Digital Media Remote.
This isn’t your normal type of remote that you usually see on TVs and stereo systems, the SR 1500 can be connected to the internet via Wi-Fi, and that detail brings a big bunch of new features, such as being able to read RSS feeds, and the obvious inclusion of a browser so you can surf the web.
On the display settings, the Tvcompass SR 1500 boasts a colorful 2.2-inch LCD screen with 320×240 as the resolution, and for the sakes of usability (to use the internet) there is a QWERTY keyboard.
Since the product will be sold by “satellite and cable companies”, they can actually pick what type of design and functions the SR 1500 will have, but at least one thing is for sure, it can control more than 15 devices at a time.
