XDA Orbit 2 – Smartphone with GPS
February 6, 2008 | In: Cellular Phones
XDA Orbit 2 is the latest handset made available by the UK folks from O2. The phone is good on style, and in features too, which is something hard to match these days.
On top of Wi-Fi as the wireless connection mode so you can surf the internet, the smartphone also supports 3G for the same task, and has a built-in GPS system, that works in coordination with the CoPilot 7 software.
The XDA Orbit 2 uses Windows Mobile 6 as the OS, which obviously means there are other MS products inside, in this case: Excel Mobile, Word Mobile, and PowerPoint Mobile.
Other good features:
- 2.8 inch 240 x 320 QVGA touchscreen
- supports microSD memory cards up to 32GB
- multimedia playback: MP3 and WMA
- 3-megapixel camera
- FM tuner and internal antenna
