Dell is one of the first companies to include the “soon-to-be-famous” technology, also known as Wireless USB, on some of their laptops, more specifically the Inspiron 1521, and all the XPS notebooks.
Besides working wirelessly with some of the latest external hard-drives, and printers, the Dell laptops will come with a Wireless USB hub from Delkin. Rumors say that the upcoming USB technology, is faster (in terms of transfer speeds) than USB2.0.
Adding Wireless USB lifts the price of any given Dell system by about $150 versus its base price but does not affect the ship date - Electronista
In a matter of months, more companies will start adopting wireless USB, and in a couple of years I guess it will become the standard version.
