I just bought the 1526 yesterday, and I have to say that I am very impressed so far. I don’t think that you can beat the cost/feature balance that this laptop gives you. I upgraded from an earlier Dell Inspiron, and I’m very happy with the performance thus far especially compared to the earlier versions that I’ve had.
And I dont think that Vista is as bad as some people make it out to be - i guess check back in about 6 months and see if my tune has changed, but I am a fan at this point
